About Us
We, Monika and Bernd, have been running our farm together since 2005.
Working with the animals and the deep connection and appreciation for nature allows us to master the tasks at the Edhof with joy.
Our children Anna, Livia, Valerie and Paul are often right in the middle of the farm and provide active support! Our Grandpa Franz is also active, especially during peak harvest times, together with Grandpa Adi.
Our values
We manage our business according to the guidelines of BIO-Austria, because BIO-Austria stands for the highest organic quality within the Austrian framework! Our products are manufactured mainly on our own farm, and companies with which we cooperate are certified according to the BIO-Austria criteria.
Farm history
Two generations before our time, the way to a family-run farm was paved at Edhof when Monika's grandparents left Gaming in Lower Austria to build something new in Upper Austria. Since then, with a lot of hard work and courage, every farm manager has preserved the old and created the new. The farm has been in Monika's hands since 2000 and is carefully managed organically, for which we received a certificate from BIO-Austria in 2018.
The team
With us, both the big and the little ones are involved in everyday farm life.
This means that all tasks are managed in family collaboration and new ideas are constantly developed.
